Local Gem for Fresh Poke Bowl While parking might be limited, Ono seafood offers the convenience of ordering to-go, allowing you to savor their fresh and flavorful poke bowls without hassle. In addition to their curated poke bowl options, they boast a refrigerated section where you can handpick your desired ingredients, ensuring a personalized and delightful dining experience.

Not your average poke spot but definitely worth coming in and trying it out really fresh and tasty. Only downside is that they only have two tables outside. So you'll have to share with the chickens that are picking at your feet when you're trying to enjoy your food.

ono seafood rating: 8/10 pricing: $18 for a bowl in regards to the taste & quality, the poke is a little under seasoned imo. however, the fish quality is insane. it's the best fish quality i've had out of all the other poke spots. you do get a free drink! however, the portions are tiny!! i came to ono before last year and the portions used to be much bigger but are now unfortunately downsized after their popularity :( there's very little seats and it's hard to find parking in the plaza.

A must-visit on any trip to Hawaii! Loved the fresh fish, sides/topping options, and the warm rice. Seating is limited but there are always people in and out on the benches

The place is tiny. The outdoor sitting area is very limited. You don't get much for the price. Yet, I'd give this place 5 stars just because their poke made me that happy. I don't know how they do it, but their ahi was the butteriest ahi I've had. When I went, luckily, the wait wasn't too bad - I think I got there around 11am, and I got my food within about 5 minutes. I'll definitely go back when I visit the island next time.

This is the second time I've been to Ono. I remember it hitting the spot the last time I was in Oahu, so I made it a point for it to be the first stop after landing. There's honestly nothing better than some fresh poke after a long flight, and Ono never disappoints. We got 2 combination poke bowls, and tried the shoyu ahi, miso ahi, spicy ahi, and Hawaiian ahi. For $18 per bowl they give a generous amount of meat and the quality is amazing! My favorites were the miso and the spicy, I thought the sauce for the Hawaiian was okay. Next time I'm in Oahu I already know I'm coming back to try other flavors!

This review is long overdue, but well deserved! I've only visited Oahu three times and EACH time I've made an effort to go to Ono Seafood. I just stopped by yesterday and it was just as good as I remembered. I know this is a big statement, but Ono Seafood is seriously the BEST poke I've ever tried in my life! I was staying on the opposite side of Waikiki this time and did not have a rental car. I ran close to 3 miles to reward myself with this lovely poke. If I'm voluntarily running that much, you know the food is GOOOOD. I always order a poke bowl with white rice, miso ahi, and spicy ahi. You can also grab any drink to pair with your food! I'm not even someone who normally eats poke, but just something about the poke in Hawaii. Next level! The fish just melts in your mouth, the flavors are on point, and the service is quick. You can count on me Ono -- I will be back every single time I visit Oahu. Highly recommend!

There is not a single time where we don't come to ono's when we're in Oahu! Something about coming off the plane and this being the first meal makes a perfect start to vacation! We got a 1/2 lb shoyu salmon and 1/2lb wasabi ahi + rice on the side. Perfect amount for 2 people! The poke NEVER disappoints! We'll see you next time

We wanted to try this poke location during our trip since it was ranked so well by a bunch of others! We tried ono along with 4 other poke places on our trip. Compared to the others we thought the poke wasn't as good or at least wasn't the best. The poke was not as soft as the other places and had more bite, which I didn't really like. Maybe it was just an off day, I don't know. The service was fine! Someone told me that you get a free drink with a poke order but we got charged so I'm not sure if that's still a thing. For our poke it was $40 for two half pounds of the ahi, which was more expensive than other places we had as well. There's seating outside (two picnic like tables). We also went a little after opening and there was no line!
