Local Gem for Fresh Poke Bowl While parking might be limited, Ono seafood offers the convenience of ordering to-go, allowing you to savor their fresh and flavorful poke bowls without hassle. Not your average poke spot but definitely worth coming in and trying it out really fresh and tasty. Only downside is that they only have two tables outside. So you'll have to share with the chickens that are picking at your feet when you're trying to enjoy your food.
ono seafood rating: 8/10 pricing: $18 for a bowl in regards to the taste & quality, the poke is a little under seasoned imo. however, the fish quality is insane. it's the best fish quality i've had out of all the other poke spots. you do get a free drink! however, the portions are tiny!! i came to ono before last year and the portions used to be much bigger but are now unfortunately downsized after their popularity :( there's very little seats and it's hard to find parking in the plaza.
A must-visit on any trip to Hawaii! Loved the fresh fish, sides/topping options, and the warm rice. Seating is limited but there are always people in and out on the benches
The place is tiny. The outdoor sitting area is very limited. You don't get much for the price. Yet, I'd give this place 5 stars just because their poke made me that happy. I don't know how they do it, but their ahi was the butteriest ahi I've had. When I went, luckily, the wait wasn't too bad - I think I got there around 11am, and I got my food within about 5 minutes. I'll definitely go back when I visit the island next time.
